Some songs with meaning...

I just added some new lyrics to Music Lyrics Central, and I wanted to add a few songs that had some meaning... So the new additions for today are:

You know you're getting old when...

You really worry about the condition of your lawn... Our lawn is looking so sad we finally broke down and called a professional. If it ever stops raining we will get the lawn aerated, and then we will get 4 visits from the lawn care people and hopefully this time next year we will have a beautiful green lawn sans dandelions...

Can someone please tell me why I care about this???

Thanks to everyone who visited www.musiclyricscentral.com on it's first official day. So far I have had 50+ songs added by users and I have already received some site suggestions and song requests. I am working at getting all requested lyrics in and I will be updating and revising the site regularly so please keep coming back...

I hope that people will like the site and continue to check in to see new updates and look for newly added songs. You can add song lyrics yourself, or suggest a song and I will get it in as soon as I can. You can also submit comments or suggestions about the site. I hope to build a very large database of songs so please add in or suggest any song you want.

One of the reasons I decided to start this site was to offer a decent lyrics site that guarantees no popups or annoying ads. I find that most lyrics sites are almost unusable because of the ads. I will have a few small ads (got to pay the bills - please click ;-)) but nothing that will get in the way of the content of the site.

My new favourite thing...

Is Winamp. I have been using Winamp for many years as my preferred MP3 player. But recently I heard Troy (I think) talking about Winamp radio, so I decided to check it out the other day. I use Windows Media Player to listen to the radio and it is ok, but Winamp Radio kicks the llamas a$$! Streaming radio that is MP3 quality, none of the tinny background noise and the choice of stations is really impressive. I love Club 977 - The 80's Channel... Also, you can watch some pretty sweet videos, I was just checking out some old Black Sabbath...

On another note I have two websites that are nearing completion. I was hoping to have one ready to go last night but it keeps getting a little more complex, maybe I am too picky, but be patient and it will be launched soon. It is music related...

OK, Get Off My Back...

I know I didn't get a new site up last night, but I ... Err... Uhhh... Had technical difficulties, yeah, that's it, my dog ate my computer...and the power went out so it is not my fault. I do not procrastinate, I am an efficient worker, I do not jump from idea to idea without finishing the one

Oh, did anyone see Britney and that guy on the Ellen show yesterday? Jillian watches Ellen after work and sometimes I peek in to see what is going on. Anyway, Britney and her squeeze were on and they have got to be the stupidest people I have ever seen. Ellen couldn't even understand what they were saying most of the time, it was embarrassing. I must say, after seeing that Jessica Simpson is a Rhodes Scholar compared to Britney Spears.

So there may be a website for all the world to see tonight, unless there is an emergency, I mean things happen, right?

So busy lately, or mabe I just think I am... Either way I am promising a site to show for all of the talk, very soon, hopefully tonight. I am finally bousta finish... well, not bousta, but something else that I hope will be a hit...

So Many Things I'm bousta do...

I can't even keep all of them straight in my head. That is why I need to get bousta up and running. At least I will have all these things organized somewhat, plus I can keep everyone informed about all of the important things I do. Important things like memorizing the lyrics to all of Weird Al's songs so I can be the life of the party. But seriously, I will chronicle all of my web development tasks, yardwork, golf games (no scores please), etc...

And just wait til travay is done! I will be the most organized person in the world! The problem is getting the stupid thing done. But when I do, watch out world!

I am slowly getting my stuff out there, pretty soon JustListedHomes will be live, not to mention d.com...

My plan for World Domination is slowly coming together, and don't we all love it when a plan comes together?
