Save a horse, ride a cowboy...

For all of you who watch the World Series of Poker on ESPN, that is the name of the theme song, it is by a country duo called Big & Rich. I am way over my country music phase (thank God) but this is a catchy song, and it got me thinking about funny sayings. Why don't you all post some your favourite funny sayings or one-liners so we can all have a good laugh?

I will start off with this one, a quote from a British sports writer while following Colin Montgomerie during a round of The Open a few weeks ago. Apparently Monty had a little flatulence problem during the round, the reporter commented later on Colin's "Anal Trumpetry". Leave it to the Brits to make farts even funnier...

I like this Cricket one;

"The bowler's Holding; the batsman's Willey."

or this question asked of Ralf Schumacher after a race;

"What does it feel like being rammed up the backside by Barrichello?"

hehe, here is a funny one from my favourite online writer, ESPN and Page 2 personality Bill Simmons:

For instance, "Raging Bull" always gets ranked in the Top 10 of every Sports Movie list ... how many times would you watch "Raging Bull" in your life? Maybe twice? It's like a colonoscopy -- you're glad you did it, but you never want to do it again.

Sorry I am so late on this one....here's a few sports misques:

**Mike Tyson, about writer Wallace Matthews: "He called me a rapist and a recluse. I'm not a recluse."

**Weightlifting commentator Pat Glenn: "This is Gregoriava from Bulgaria. I saw her snatch this morning and it was amazing."

**Football coach Bill Peterson: "Men, I want you just thinking of one word all season. One word and one word only: Super Bowl."

**Steve Spurrier, Florida football coach, telling Gator fans that a fire at Auburn's football dorm had destroyed 20 books: "But the real tragedy was that 15 hadn't been colored yet."
